Week 8
This week we are working on Pythagorean Theorem. a2+b2=c2 Pythagorean Theorem works with right triangles. It is used to find a missing side of a right triangle. We will have a unit test on Friday over Pythagorean Theorem, Radical Expressions, and Scientific Notation.

Week 7
In week seven we will remain focusing on radical expressions. We will learn to add, subtract, multiply and divide radical expressions. We will also learn how the Pythagorean Theorem was developed and how it is used today.

Test on Friday, September 10, 2010
There will be a test on Friday. The test will cover the skills we have been practicing with radical expressions. You need to be able to simplify radical expressions, find out the whole numbers the irrational number is between, and estimate the approximate value.
